Tirolean Mountain Christmas in Achenkirch

Step into a traditional Tirolean single farmhouse, home to the Sixenhof local history museum, and discover the magic of the Tirolean Mountain Christmas. Inside the centuries-old barn, you'll find a captivating nativity scene with life-size figures and real live animals. For 25 minutes, a rich, sonorous voice narrates the "Achental version" of the birth of Jesus Christ, enhanced by visual projections. Cosy lighting and the sounds of the animals create a peaceful, festive atmosphere. A beautifully decorated Christmas tree and one of the oldest Christmas cribs in the Achental add to the charm.

Light refreshments are available. Warm up with hot drinks and “Zelten”, a traditional fruit bread from the local bakery. Admission to the Tirolean Mountain Christmas also includes entry to the museum's exhibition rooms.
