Lake Achensee boasts a huge range of designated ski touring routes. For your safety and the safety of other skiers, be sure to plan your outdoor activities carefully, especially when heading into the backcountry. Get the knowledge and follow the rules to minimize your exposure to risk.

Free regional buses

Public transport is a fast and eco-friendly way of getting around in the Achensee region. In winter, the regional buses double as ski shuttles serving all ski areas where some of the most popular ski tours start. The AchenseeCard, the region’s visitor card which you receive from your accommodation provider, is your free bus ticket.
