Gasthaus Kaiserhaus
On the edge of the Kaiserklamm, the 500-year-old Kaiserhaus invites visitors to take a break – with a cosy garden area, a playground featuring a large trampoline (summer only), and a small petting zoo. Tirolean specialities, crisp summer salads, pasta dishes, ice cream and homemade cakes are served.
During the summer months, overnight stays are possible – including the option to sleep in the historic “Sissi Room”. A total of 8 beds and 13 dormitory places are available.
The inn is also an ideal starting point for an impressive one-hour circular walk through the Kaiserklamm. A narrow trail leads through the striking gorge alongside the Brandenberger Ache. Information boards along the way explain the historic use of the gorge for timber rafting. The return path follows a gentle forest track.
Note: Cash payment only.
The Kaiserhaus will reopen at the beginning of April 2026.
opening hours
In bad weather, the inn is also closed on Mondays. In case of persistent rain, the Kaiserhaus remains closed.
